Compressed Air DryersDo you have a problem with water in your air? How can you achieve oil free air? How do you dispose of leftover condensate? These are just a couple of the issues we get approached regarding.
The compressor is just the beginning of your compressed air system, and in order to be compliant with ISO 8573-1 you will need to treat the air that’s generated. After the compression process, contaminants such as water, oil and particles are still present in the air and this can cause damage to equipment and even spoil production. There are increasing demands to meet and ensure high quality air in production, and Multi Pneumatics Ltd can advise on a range of compressed air treatment products to ensure you have the correct equipment for your application. |
Refrigerant air dryers
The CompAir and Champion refrigerant dryers are characterised by their energy efficiency, which helps to reduce running costs, thanks to their patented heat exchanger technology.
- High quality heat exchanger with low pressure loss
- +3°C pressure dew point
- Low operating costs
- Environmentally friendly R134a and R407c refrigerants
- Effective condensate separation
- Minimum space requirement due to compact dimensions
- Easy to install, operate and maintain
Desiccant air dryers
CompAir and Champion offer a range of high efficiency heatless and heat regenerative compressed air dryers for the removal of water vapour from a compressed air supply. Adsorption compressed air dryers remove moisture by passing air over a regenerative desiccant material, which attracts and retains the water vapour molecules. The term pressure dew point refers to the temperature at which water condensation will occur, a typical pressure dew point specified for an adsorption dryer is -40°C which prevents corrosion and inhibits the growth of micro-organisms.
Compared to traditional twin tower dryer designs, the CompAir compressed air dryer’s unique modular construction is typically a lot smaller and lighter than comparable twin tower desiccant dryers. Providing a simple to install and easy to maintain design which is fully corrosion protected and supported by numerous international standard approvals. |
