Air Compressors - Variable Speed (Energy saving)
Hydrovane HV (ACE) RS Series enclosed regulated speed rotary vane compressor range provides a variable speed offering for the enclosed hydrovane product selection. While fixed speed rotary compressors are most efficient in continuous duty applications, regulated speed machines optimize energy efficiency when operated below full load capacity. The HV (ACE) RS series offers all of the same features and benefits of the enclosed fixed speed range, with the added benefit of up to 50% energy savings due to decreased electricity consumption. These units produce only the amount of air required to meet application demand.
Hydrovane regulated speed rotary vane compressors come standard with line reactors and built-in EMC filter. The inverter drive efficiently matches energy consumption with air demand, and the reduced energy venting system (REVS) also provides energy savings. This system supplies a low starting current and reduces off load power to 25% by rapidly venting internal pressure. As with the fixed speed HV (ACE) series, the small footprint and low noise levels of the enclosed HV RS line allow for easy installation and point of use application. Additionally, receiver and refrigerant dryer options are available on the HV (ACE) RS 7 – 22 kW (10 to 30 hp) models, for a complete plug and play Hypac.
